SAS Field Trip - Ankeny National Wildlife Refuge

All of the Willamette Valley Refuges are exciting places to view shorebirds in the fall. September is one of the best times at Ankeny to observe birds during fall migration.
Meet at Ankeny Hill Nature Center (AHNC) Parking Lot at 7:30 AM. There are facilities at this location, and the trails are now open!
Bring water, binoculars, and a snack. Trails can be uneven, so please wear appropriate footwear. Loaner binoculars are available.
